CUSTOMER OF THE MONTH
Cyclist using CurraNZ for extra gears to become one of fastest in British history
THIS month's customer prize winner is Fiona Prew, who is one of the fastest female amateur cyclists in Britain. She entered the record books last year when recording the fastest-ever time of 21:13 in a 10-mile organised time trial in Yorkshire.
Fiona writes: I have been using CurraNZ for the past two years and consider it a key part of my racing preparation.
I have had my most successful season to date this year and I credit the benefits of CurraNZ with this.
My key targets this year are to podium at the National Time Trial and at the World Amateur Championships in Albi next month. I have finished on the podium in every race so far, including:
Tour of Ayrshire - Gold
Tour of Cambridgeshire - Silver
Castle Combe Closed Circuit Series - three wins, wins course records
National Emergency Services Time Trial Championships - silver
Leading rider in Midlands Women's Time Trial series
This year I've set myself some big goals and am looking to improve on my ranking of being one of the top 20 fastest women for 10-mile time trial in history. I need all the assistance in can get in order to sustain the structured training program to give me the best chance of fulfilling them.
CurraNZ has been my 'go to' product ever since I first heard about it and is a key part of my racing and recovery strategy.
I try to avoid artificial ingredients in nutrition, so the fact that CurraNZ is literally what it says on the tin is a bonus for me.
Not only do I feel physiologically better, there's also that psychological boost come race day. Blackcurrants just happen to be one of my favourite foods so it's a winner all round!
